Delaware Becomes 14th State to Pass Fantasy Sports LegislationToday, FanDuel announced it would be offering its full slate of fantasy offerings in Delaware, including the chance to win one million dollars in the NFL FanDuel Sunday Million, effective on Friday. This announcement follows news that Delaware Governor John Carney signed a fantasy sports bill into law, establishing a number of consumer protections and regulating daily fantasy sports in the state. Delaware is now the 14th state to enact legislation protecing fantasy sports, and the fifth state to pass fantasy sports legislation in the first half of 2017 alone. Delaware fans collectively sent thousands of letters to state representatives showing their support for fantasy sports and protecting their right to play.
