Cybersecurity Leaders Set to Converge during National Cybersecurity Awareness Month at the 2017 CyberMaryland Conference


BALTIMORE, Sept. 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The state of Maryland is the center of cybersecurity activities for the federal government and is once again bringing together those across the field at the seventh annual CyberMaryland Conference. Held during National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, this year's event anchors a week-long agenda of activities that offer an in-depth look at the future of cyber leadership in industry and government. Recognized as one of the region's premier collaborative platforms, CyberMaryland is a catalyst for promoting information sharing between information technology and cybersecurity professionals in the region and beyond.

Hosted by UMUC, The National Security Agency (NSA) and The National Cryptologic Museum Foundation, this one-day symposium of renowned national cybersecurity leaders, includes experts from past and current administrations, the U.S. military, industry, and academia. CyberMaryland Conference & Industry Showcase, October 11 and 12, 8 AM- 5 PM held at the Baltimore Convention Center. The two-day conference includes eight tracks – Cyber Risks, Cyber Education, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Acquisitions & Business Development, Cyber Insider Threats, Hacker Adaptability, Cyber Workforce & Cyber Innovation and 25+ sessions. Over 90 cyber leaders from across the globe will be speaking at the event. The conference will also include international delegations from the United Kingdom.
