LifeSite is increasing functionality for more than 75,000 individual users, and thousands more who use LifeSite via the 30+ business partners utilizing the company's LifeSite Pro enterprise product. Existing users have all been contacted to initiate the upgrade to the new version of LifeSite, which includes an updated mobile app.

"With this comprehensive LifeSite release, we continue to fulfill our company's mission to help families prepare, care and share" says Chris Wong, LifeSite CEO. "I can help my aging parents enter their current health and insurance information into LifeSite, and know they can retrieve it easily in an emergency at home, or anywhere else from their phone."

LifeSite updates include:

  • New dashboard featuring a news-style Activity Feed and snapshot widgets providing current messages and Life Reminders
  • Deeer File Vault organization
  • Expanded collaborator privileges
  • More customizable categories
  • New file tagging feature to improve searchability
  • Enhanced sorting and group actions
  • New mobile app design - friendlier on the eyes/easier to read with improved navigation

Businesses providing LifeSite to clients and/or employees will also benefit from additional LifeSite Pro updates including: an additional storage vault for templates and contracts; a cohesive Activity Feed to assist in monitoring client activity and maximize opportunities to return deliverables; and a simplified navigation bar.

All the new LifeSite features and improvements were designed to enhance user experience, promoting productivity and efficiency, while keeping valuable information secure. LifeSite still uses the highest level of encryption during transmission and storage, and industry-leading security protocols, so entered information is more secure than paper records. LifeSite's core features are all still available; including the easy-to-use File Vault, mobile scanner, secure messaging and notifications.

LifeSite skill for Amazon Alexa

Also included in today's product release is the introduction of the LifeSite skill for Amazon Alexa. The LifeSite skill gives users the ability to interact with Amazon Alexa-enabled devices, such as the Amazon Echo and Echo Dot, to retrieve important information in an easy, intuitive way.

A winner of the inaugural Amazon Alexa Skills Challenge, the LifeSite skill makes using Alexa to access personal and medical information simple and hands-free. Just ask, and the LifeSite skill for Alexa can quickly locate insurance or prescription information, provide the expiration date for your driver's license, or access other information stored in your LifeSite (after requesting your voice PIN, of course).

"The LifeSite skill for Alexa fills a real need for people who have difficulty using their hands, whose eyesight is not that great, or who are simply too stressed to log into a computer or mobile device and need information quickly," says Wong.

User feedback was instrumental in the enhancements and additional features introduced by LifeSite. New users can go to www.lifesite.co to learn more and sign up…and finally help their family "get organized" - a leading New Year's resolution every year.
