(ISC)2 Opens Call for Expert Cybersecurity Speakers for 2018 Security Congress


CLEARWATER, Fla., Dec. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- (ISC)²® today announced a call for speakers for its eighth annual (ISC)² Security Congress conference in New Orleans Oct 8-10, 2018.  Submissions will be accepted until February 23, 2018.

This year's theme, "Enrich. Enable. Excel" focuses on bringing together leading cybersecurity professionals to advance industry best practices. Over the course of the three-day event, more than 2,000 cybersecurity professionals, including researchers, frontline practitioners, CISOs and CIOs will share information on the industry's most pressing topics, including cybercrime, compliance, critical infrastructure and application security and more.

Security Congress will offer 100+ educational and thought-leadership sessions from a roster of over 185 speakers to help advance security leaders by arming them with the latest knowledge, tools and expertise to protect their organizations.

Call for Speakers

Speaker applicants can either submit for a keynote presentation or panel presentation. All submissions require a three step process, which must be fully completed in order to be considered. Proposals must be non-sales and non-marketing oriented and no fees are required to submit a proposal. Individuals may submit a maximum of two proposals as the primary presenter per conference, but are allowed tobe part of additional sessions as panel participants.



All applications must include a title, a proposal abstract, with a limit of 125 words, and three learning objectives to impart to attendees. After the February 23 submission deadline, (ISC)² staff and industry professionals will review the submissions.
