Vizient, Inc. Now Accepting Applications for Innovative Technology Exchange 2018Suppliers interested in participating in the Vizient Innovative Technology Exchange are encouraged to submit their application now for the event on Thursday, October 4, 2018, at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas. The event's format will offer up to 100 selected suppliers a unique opportunity to showcase their innovative solutions to clinicians from member hospitals nationwide. The deadline to apply is July 13, 2018. The 2018 Innovative Technology Exchange is a part of the 2018 Vizient Connections Summit, which will be held Oct. 1-5 at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas. Approximately 2000 clinician are expected to attend the Connections Summit. Those providers will be able to also attend the Innovative Exchange to see new products and solutions designed to improve their clinical outcomes, enhance safety or drive incremental improvements to their healthcare business model. "Suppliers who participate in the Innovative Technology Exchange are overwhelmingly positive about their experience and the level of interaction with clinicians and supply chain leaders," said Debbie Archer, procurement director for Vizient. "Providers who attend say that the hands-on format gives them confidence and credibility when they discuss a new product with physicians and other groups in their health care organization. It's a unique format and a win-win for all who participate." The annual Innovative Technolgy Exchange is a component of Vizient's Innovative Technology Program that includes product review by experts from Vizient member hospitals. Since 2003, Vizient has reviewed about 2400 new and innovative technologies as part of the Innovative Technology Program. This review process may result in an Innovative Technology contract with Vizient. Suppliers of technologies that deliver improvement to clinical outcomes, enhance safety or drive incremental improvements to health care business model are invited to apply to exhibit at this event.
