Leaf Group Names Andrea Stanford Senior Vice President and General Manager of Society6Leaf Group Ltd. (NYSE: LFGR), a diversified consumer internet company comprised of several marketplace and media properties, today announced the addition of Andrea Stanford to its senior team. Stanford will serve as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Society6, Leaf Group's artist-driven home décor and accessories marketplace, featuring millions of unique designs created by more than 275,000 artists worldwide. "Andrea's background as a brand strategist and design editor makes her very well positioned to lead Society6 right now," said Sean Moriarty, CEO of Leaf Group. "She is a strategic leader and creative thinker whose talents will be instrumental in building the Society6 brand." Andrea Stanford is a results-oriented executive and brand strategist with a unique background in both eCommerce and editorial. Most recently she served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Partnerships for Everything But The House, a global online estate sale platform. Stanford also served as a member of the senior management team at One Kings Lane, building and overseeing the vintage ad designer merchandise business, as well as serving as General Manager to One Kings Lane's spin-off site, Hunters Alley, a curated vintage marketplace. Prior to joining One Kings Lane, Stanford helped launch C Magazine, leading the design editorial content for the publication. She started her career at The Walt Disney (News - Alert) Company, serving as Director of Marketing and Communications. Stanford holds an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA and a BS in Business Administration from Pepperdine University. She currently serves on the Los Angeles Board of Camp Kesem, a nationwide charitable organization supporting children through and beyond their parent's cancer. In her role at Society6, Stanford will lead all day-to-day operations for the brand, including business development, product and marketing initiatives.
