Attorney Igwe is representing Elmer Daniels ("Mr. Daniels"), 58, an African-American male who was convicted in 1980 of raping a 15-year-old white female. Mr. Daniels, who was 18 years old at the time of his trial, was sentenced to life iprisonment upon his conviction. Attorney Igwe has spent the past two years investigating information to exonerate Mr. Daniels.
