Nerdio Achieves Microsoft Co-Sell Ready Distinction for Leadership in Driving Azure Consumption

LAS VEGAS, July 16, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MICROSOFT INSPIRE 2018 – Nerdio (www.getnerdio.com), the creator of leading IT automation platform Nerdio for Azure, is announcing it has received the coveted Co-Sell Ready designation through the Microsoft One Commercial Partner Program. This designation is utilized by Microsoft’s global network of internal and partner executives to identify accredited solutions. Nerdio is now among an elite group of global independent software vendors selected by Microsoft for intensive joint sales, support, and go-to-market initiatives.

“We’re thrilled that Nerdio for Azure has been acknowledged as meeting the necessary competency, capability, and performance standards of the Co-Sell program,” said Vadim Vladimirskiy, CEO of Nerdio. “It’s an honor to be selected by Microsoft as a solution that rises to the needs and requirements of Microsoft, its partners, and customers. We’re looking forward to helping organizations streamline operations and dramatically reduce costs as more and more of their infrastructure is moved onto Azure.”

Nerdio for Azure is the on-ramp to the Microsoft Azure superhighway, delivering IT automation for ridiculously easy packaging, pricing, provisioning, management, and optimization of hybrid and complete IT environments in the Microsoft Cloud. Nerdio’s centralized admin portal provides a single, unified management interface, and allows even non-engineers to handle the majority of taks in just three clicks or less, dramatically increasing efficiency. This includes provisioning an entire IT environment within just two hours.

In addition, the Intelligent Autoscaling feature dynamically dials resources like compute and storage up or down to match actual needs, so that anything not used isn’t paid for. Other key features include visual synthetic performance monitoring at the end-user level, as well as elimination of previously cumbersome onboarding tasks with hassle-free onboarding tools.

“The technical advantages of Nerdio’s solution for Azure are unmistakable -- it allows simplification across the board, completely sidestepping common deployment and management errors, and reducing the use of expensive engineering resources,” said Vince Menzione, Strategic Channel & Partner Sales Acceleration Consultant and former General Manager of Partner Sales and Strategy at Microsoft. “But I think the most important value proposition may be for CSPs -- the elimination of piece-part services, which empowers them to win all of their customers’ cloud business and become their sole provider. Locking in these long-lasting relationships is essential to maximizing recurring revenue and ultimately, edging out the competition.”

The Co-Sell program was piloted in 2016 and officially unveiled at Microsoft Inspire in June 2017. Since then, it has reportedly expanded in full force, and includes a $250 million investment in Microsoft seller incentives, to drive immediate engagement, targeted growth, amplified visibility on a global scale for selected ISV partners like Nerdio. Co-Sell Ready ISV sales also results in ACR quota offset for Microsoft sellers, which is of great benefit to Microsoft field sellers specifically.

Nerdio can be found demonstrating at booth #528 Microsoft Inspire 2018 through July 19 at Mandalay Bay Convention Center.
