Promapp Makes First Hires for New Austin Office

On the heels of announcing the expansion of its U.S. presence, Promapp has made the first hires for its second U.S. office in Austin, Texas.

The industry-leading provider of cloud-based business process management (BPM) software for creating and managing business processes online has hired seven new employees for its new Austin office. They include:

  • Angela Lee, a University of Texas graduate who brings more than 15 years of experience in sales management and SaaS (News - Alert) software with companies such as VMware to her new position as Sales Director;
  • Katie Gibson, an eight-year veteran of technology companies like Rackspace Hosting (News - Alert) and G5, where she focused on demand generation, who will serve as Director, Demand Generation;
  • Hope Ruiz, who has experience in building and managing sales enablement programs for high-growth software sales teams, who will serve as Sales Enablement Director; and
  • Michael Whitt, who spent the past five years in the software industry, specializing in solution selling and sales development, before being named Sales Development Manager.

Promapp plans to add several other sales, sales development, and marketing positions to its Austin team in the coming months.

"Promapp's new Austin office represents an integral part of our strategy to continue U.S. expansion and to support our growing U.S. client base," says Promapp CEO Ivan Seselj.

Since opening its first U.S. office in San Francisco in 2015, Promapp has established a strong foothold in North America. The firm now counts ConectWise, MorganFranklin Consulting, JE Dunn, Marketo (News - Alert), Michigan State University, Builders Design, the University of California Berkeley, Porchlight Developments, GCM, and Pankow Builders among its U.S. customers.

"We've had great success in America, attracting a range of marquee clients as more organizations recognize the important role process management and improvement play in driving innovation, staff engagement, and competitive advantage," Seselj explains. "Leading C-level executives are now making it a priority to create an environment that enables teams to drive effective change management, ensuring critical processes are captured and presented in formats that teams across the business will actually use."
