Alan Clelland Joins Applied Information, Inc. as Vice President, West


Applied Information, Inc., the leading developer of intelligent transportation systems and Internet of Things mobility technology, today announced the appointment of intelligent transportation industry veteran Alan Clelland as Vice President, West.

Mr. Clelland is responsible for managing the company's business development efforts in the western United States.

Mr. Clelland has over 40 years' experience in transportation engineering, traffic control and management. Mr. Clelland has led many Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) projects in the U.S., including traffic signal management systems, traveler information systems, transit signal priority and performance measurement projects. Recently, he has led connected and automted vehicle activities including planning, technology evaluation and deployment.



In addition to his project experience, Mr. Clelland previously served as the Chair of the NEMA Transportation Systems Management (News - Alert) Section's Technical Advisory Committee and is a past Chair of ITS California. He currently serves as a Member of the ITS California Board and is a member of Cal Poly Pomona's Industry Advisory Council.
