Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 Di III RXD in Indonesia

JAKARTA, Indonesia, Sept. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Tamron, a leading manufacturer of optics for diverse applications, announced a new high-speed standard zoom lens for 35mm Full-Frame Mirrorless cameras, the 28-75mm f/2.8 Di III RXD.

The lens delivers superb optical performance, giving outstanding image quality and beautiful background blur effects (bokeh). Photographers will enjoy dynamic wide-angle expressions like never before, thanks to a MOD (minimum object distance) of 0.19m at wide angle zoom settings.

It weighs only 550gm and incorporates an all-new high speed and precise AF driving system along with RXD (Rapid eXtra-silent stepping Drive) and a stepping motor unit that operates with remarkable quietness, making it perfect for videography. The lens is compatible with the "Direct Manual Focus (DMF)" system feature of Sony cameras, enabling this new zoom to utilize the full advanced functions to ensure comfortable user experience.

This model is now available in Indonesia, distributed officially by PT Halodat Indonesia. A recent visit to Indonesia by two senior executives from Tamron Japan, has further boosted the confidence of dealers and users of the lens model:

This lens is Tamron's first Sony FE mount lens. We have made this lens to fill in the needs of affordable, light weight, fast aperture lens. The market was lacking such lens.
