Marrone Bio Innovations Named to 2018 Agrow Awards Shortlist

DAVIS, Calif., Sept. 25, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Marrone Bio Innovations, Inc. (MBI) (NASDAQ: MBII), a leading global provider of bio-based pest management and plant health products, has been nominated as a finalist for the 2018 Agrow Awards in the categories of Best R&D Pipeline, Best New Biological Product (Biopesticide) and Best Industry Collaboration (for two separate collaborations).

MBI is a finalist for the “Best New Biopesticide” category via their Venerate Bioinsecticide, for the “Best R&D Pipeline” which include MBI’s bioherbicides and a biofumigant, “Best Industry Collaboration” in two separate products – one with Evogene for insecticidal protein discovery and one with Groundwork BioAg for an all-biological, broad spectrum seed treatment.

MBI received High Commendation for its R&D pipeline at the 2017 Agrow Awards.
