The project was recognized for its unique ability to aggregate data from both environmental and occupancy sensors, to improve the building's energy efficiency while also helping to maximise space utilisation and boost employee productivity. The Smart Space team at BuroHappold, experts in human behaviour analytics, people movement and real time data visualisation, worked with Vodafone and Current to achieve these outcomes. The EG Tech Awards were created to celebrate digital transformations at the forefront of real estate technology that address a defined market problem. Twelve award winners were honored for their impact on real estate in the U.K. and beyond.
