MST is a mobile app that runs on both Android and iOS smart phones.  It notifies users when prescription medicines should be taken and records medicines that have already been taken.

All Medicine trackers require the user to input their medicine data into the app.  Some apps require a user to enter medicine name, dose amount and quantity per day, after which the user must then setup a reminder schedule.   Alternatives include searching a remote database to find the medication they use, or spoofing pharmacy databases into believing the user is logging into their membership account to retrive prescription information.  There are many problems with these methods, mostly the difficulty setting up medications and prescription schedules.  These tasks are so cumbersome most people refrain from using such a beneficial tool.

Integration with the Pharmacy Management System

Prescription information can be transferred, such as expiration dates, and medication messages, for example, "don't take if you become pregnant", "don't take with grapefruit or grapefruit juice", etc.  Other information can easily be added to the app for customer reference like, which practicing physician prescribed their medication, or how many refills are allowed and by when.  In addition, pharmacies can even send the name of their store Pharmacist to their customers, personalizing and strengthening relationships between customer and Pharmacist.  All this is done with the pre-approval of the Pharmacy.
