Renowned database architect Mike Bowers joins FairCom


COLUMBIA, Mo., Oct. 16, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- One of the world's most trusted names in database technology, FairCom Corporation, announced today that Mike Bowers has joined the team as chief architect. Bowers brings more than 30 years of software development and architecture experience, and he is recognized throughout the database management industry as one of its leading experts, especially in regards to NoSQL technology.

At FairCom, Bowers will be responsible for roadmap planning, project management and technology integration with FairCom's engineering teams based in Columbia, Milan, Sao Paulo and Salt Lake City. Bowers has spent the past 11 years serving as the principal architect at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he led the technology strategy for data integration, data governance, business intelligence and database platforms. Prior to working with the church, he served as a software engineer and developer in the semiconductor, transportation and manufacturing industries.
