Wolters Kluwer Empowers Professionals to Stay on Top of Regulations and Compliance with Enhancements to CCH AnswerConnect

During the 14th annual CCH Connections User Conference, Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting (TAA) showcased recent developments to CCH® AnswerConnect, the answer-oriented tax research platform.

"Complex regulatory changes from the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act to State Tax Legislation, means professionals are experiencing an unprecedented volume of information to consume and review," said Frans Klaassen, EVP and GM, TAA North America, Research & Learning. "Our enhancements to CCH (News - Alert) AnswerConnect empower professionals to quickly and accurately conduct tax research with confidence."

Wolters Kluwer empowers professionals to stay on top of regulations and compliance information with several enhancements to CCH AnswerConnect including:

  • Integrated Solutions (News - Alert): Customers can simply type in keyword searches within CCH AnswerConnect and available CCH SmartCharts will be featured at the top of the search results, and with the integration between CCH AnswerConnect and CCH Axcess™ users can access relevant information at the immediate point of need
  • Smart Technology: With the voice enabled Tax Assistant, customers can remain in their workflow such as a filing or spreadsheet, and simply ask Cortana voice assistant to verbally ask CCH AnswerConnect the answer to a federal tax question
  • Enhanced Tools: To improve a speed-to-answer, hundreds of commonly asked tax questions have been organized to surface from the search box, and information is also highlighted at the top of the search results within a separate box; federal regulation archive and rulings have been added to the 360? View, the ability to easily click on related guidance and primary source information; improved the printed and saved citations in topics and examples to allow users to see the references within the document when viewed offline

During CCH Connections, Wolters Kluwer offers multiple ways to increase professional's confidence in tax research including the CCH AnswerConnect product kiosk, dubbed "Tax Reform Explained" and through multiple tax sessions with Wolters Kluwer experts and industry thought leaders.
