Cubic to Discuss Integrated and Smart Travel at North of England Transport SummitSAN DIEGO, Nov. 15, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Cubic Corporation (NYSE:CUB) today announced that its Cubic Transportation Systems (CTS) business division will participate at the North of England Transport Summit, taking place on November 15 in Manchester, United Kingdom. Tim Roberts, CTS business development lead, will discuss the benefits of account-based ticketing for both transport operators and travelers and its strategic role in Mobility as a Service (MaaS). Organized by Transport Times with support from Transport for the North and Transport for Greater Manchester, the event brings together key politicians and practitioners to discuss the future transport strategy for the north of England.
MaaS is a growing strategy for managing transportation and integrating public and private transportation modes into a single mobilit service, accessible on demand. Cubic's account-based ticketing technology known as One Account, has an established presence in cities such as Chicago and will be deployed in major cities including New York and Boston in the near future.
