Gainsight Culture & CEO Recognized by Comparably as "Best of" 2018

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Dec. 12, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Gainsight™, the Customer Success company, announced today that it has been awarded two prestigious honors in Comparably’s 2018 “Best of” program - receiving awards in both its “Best Company Culture” and “Best CEOs” lists. Out of tens of thousands of U.S. companies, Gainsight ranked eleventh among best small companies, and its CEO, Nick Mehta ranked 15 in the Top 50 Best CEOs for Small/Med-Size companies.

“It’s an incredible honor for Gainsight to be named among other businesses and leaders who are driving positive culture change across several industries,” said Nick Mehta, Gainsight CEO. “At Gainsight, our purpose and culture are founded on the principle of being human first, meaning the decisions we make must be for the betterment of our shareholders, customers, teammates, their families, and the communities around us. These awards are truly a testament to the committed individuls who make this happen at Gainsight every day. Without them, we wouldn’t be where or who we are.”

As a platform, Comparably provides anonymous and comprehensive data on compensation and insights into work culture, so it’s natural that the “Best of Awards” would turn to employees at the nominated companies to help decide the winners. To be considered for the awards, companies must have met a predetermined minimum of ratings from employees who have left anonymous public ratings on their Comparably.com company page from November 2017 to November 2018. Winners were then determined through a series of 50 questions across 20 metrics, including work-life balance, compensation and future outlook of their company’s business.

Since Mehta joined the company in 2013, Gainsight has experienced rapid success and continued growth, including expanding to more than 500 employees across seven offices globally. This is in conjunction with $156 million raised in funding at a time when the Customer Success industry has experienced exponential growth with businesses focusing on undergoing digital transformations, ultimately moving toward subscription-based models. In fact, the company recently acquired Aptrinsic—a product-led growth solution—to further strengthen Gainsight’s ability to help subscription businesses maximize growth by unifying the efforts of the Customer Success and Product Management teams.

"The most successful businesses are led by amazing CEOs who serve as a visionary, positive example and support system for their teams," said Jason Nazar, Comparably CEO. "The chief executives on Comparably's Best CEOs list were the highest rated by employees for their inspiring, transparent, and engaging leadership."
