HealthSpace Announces New Members to its Advisory Board

VANCOUVER, Dec. 18, 2018 /CNW/ - HealthSpace Data Systems Ltd. ("HealthSpace") (CSE:HS) (Frankfurt:38H) (OTC:HDSLF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Nicholas Jeffery and Matthew Eierman to its Advisory Board.

Mr. Jeffery, a former Director of the Data Centre Solutions group at CBRE (the world's largest commercial real estate services firm), has a depth of experience spanning a multi-decade career across numerous business verticals. Most recently, Mr. Jeffery served as CEO of Uniserve Communications Corporation where he significantly increased revenue and saw a 271% increase in market capitalization and was awarded TSX top 50 performing company last year.

With over 25 years of telecommunications, media and technology experience, Mr. Jeffery was previously the European Managing Director of PSINet Europe. He was part of the executive team that acquired PSINet for $15m and was sold two years later for $150m to Telstra and Interroute, having taken the business from a $30m loss to $15m profit in two years. Mr. Jeffery has also been a C-Level executive at data center and Internet service companies such as Hostmark, Worldport, and Digital Realty. Mr. Jeffery also has with a vast professional network in the IOT space which aids the company's reach as it continues to grow.

Mr. Jeffery said about the appointment. Mr. Eierman, a chef-turned-entrepreneur, has had a long history in the food service industry both inside the kitchen and out, having served for a time as general manager over numerous locations of a large national chain.  Mr. Eierman used his experience in the industry to start HDScores, a company that aggregates restaurant inspection data and puts it into a consumable format.  While serving as CEO of HDScores, Mr. Eierman designed the concept, led the development of the platform and built-out the management team.  Prior to successfully exiting the company, Mr. Eierman oversaw HDScores' partnership with Yelp, a crowd-sourced review forum, to bring restaurant inspection data to consumers.

The Company further announces that it has granted to certain advisors of the Company stock options to acquire up to a total of 500,000 common shares under the Company's Stock Option Plan (the "Options").  The Options are exercisable for a period of five years at a price of CAD$0.08 per share.
