Young America Capital Announces Appointment of Raju Panjwani, Senior Managing DirectorNEW YORK, Dec. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Young America Capital LLC ("YAC") announced today that it has named Raju Panjwani Senior Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking for FinTech/Blockchain. Mr. Panjwani brings over 35 years of experience. He spent 18 years at Morgan Stanley where he was a Managing Director. He started his stint at Morgan Stanley in 1987 as global head of financial audit, followed by being the COO of the Firm's India office and later the Head of India office. He was an active participant in originating technology transactions and executed on the Firm's first ever joint venture in a complex M&A deal. He was later the global head of strategy and part of the senior risk management team at Morgan Stanley until 2005. Subsequently, Mr. Panjwani spearheaded a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), started three businesses: a Fintech focused on hedge fund middle and back office, a mid-market investment bank in India focused on cross-border M&A and capital raising followed by a research-driven institutional broker-dealer. Mr. Panjwani gained reputation as highly 'execution focused', ethical leader and a strong communicator. Among his many accomplishments include: building strong relationships with large Indian technology and financial services firms; starting new businesses/division; understanding and using operations and technology to st up the right infrastructure, and leading large teams of people and aligning them to a vision.
