Tinder Promotes Lennart Schirmer to Regional Director of EuropeLOS ANGELES, Jan. 17, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Tinder, one of the world's leading apps for meeting new people, announces today that Lennart Schirmer, previously Tinder's Country Manager for Germany, has been promoted to Regional Director of Europe. In this role, Schirmer will oversee operations in Germany, the UK and France, focusing on user growth and shaping brand perception across Western Europe. "Lennart has proven his ability to truly understand the Tinder business, and to drive the German market creatively. Schirmer joined Tinder in 2017, where he built the marketing organization in Germany and successfully launched Tinder's first-ever German marketing campaigns. Prior to Tinder, Schirmer was the CMO of Berlin-based travel startup Wimdu. He also worked as a Brand Manager for Procter & Gamble and L'Oréal, and as a Management Consultant for Oliver Wyman. His experience runs the gamut of brand strategy, marketing campaign development, media planning and global expansion.
