Kdan Mobile Creates a Comprehensive Knowledge Management Platform, Adds Collaboration Features to Markup App


PITTSBURG, Pa., Jan. 18, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Kdan Mobile Software Ltd (Kdan Mobile), a global Software as a Service provider headquartered in Taiwan, announced the release of an improved Markup application that utilizes team-building features and an improved user interface. The new update also includes their newly-developed artificial intelligence. Markup is part of their Creativity 365 App Series that is available on iOS and Chrome.

These new features are part of Markup's transition into a more team-oriented application. New features include: Shared Folders; creating and managing teams; Team Clipboard; and Team Panel.

Markup was originally launched with a focus on annotating on PDF files, ePub documents, and web content, however the updated version will put more of an emphasis on collaboration within teams. "We decided that our application could better serve teams by shifting the focus of the app from document management to collaboration," explains Kenny Su, Kdan's CEO and founder. "That's why we've added new features like a shared folder, the ability to create teams within the app and more."

Users start the team-building process by inviting members to join them in the application where they can share folders within a workspace. The owner of a team has the ability to set permissions for the content in the folders.

"Adding the team clipboard is going to help teams share materials amongst themslves like never before," says Kenny Su. The team clipboard lets members share links, video clips, texts, pictures and files directly.



The team panel allows teams to record and monitor their progress throughout a project.

"Perhaps the most exciting new feature is the incorporation of cutting-edge AI technology," says Chun-Chin Su, the VP of innovation and design at Kdan Mobile. "The AI lets users classify their own (or others') web Markup articles with different tags, and automatically sorts them by their reader's preferences, making Markup an excellent knowledge management platform."


Kdan hopes their AI will help users create a tailored reading community by automatically organizing saved articles and filtering the most efficient, useful or interesting content to the top of the list.
