Vernier Software & Technology Supports Science and STEM Educators with Free Professional Development WorkshopsBEAVERTON, Ore., Jan. 21, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Vernier Software & Technology will host 20 free hands-on workshops this spring to help science and STEM educators learn how to integrate Vernier data-collection technology into their curriculum. Led by a former science educator with years of classroom experience, each four-hour workshop will provide educators with the opportunity to explore age-appropriate, classroom-ready experiments using Vernier technology, including the award-winning Go Direct® wireless sensors. "These workshops provide a great professional development opportunity for teachers, whether they are new to data collection or just looking for a refresher," said John Wheeler, CEO of Vernier Software & Technology. "Teachers learn new skills and collaborate with fellow educators as they test out new technologies and experiments that can easily be incorporated into their physics, chemistry, biology, environmental science, Earth science, and middle school science classes."
