Call for Entries Opens for 2019 Effie Collegiate Brand Challenge Competition Presented by Subaru of America, Inc.


Effie United States, which recognizes marketing effectiveness, has announced that the 2019 Effie Collegiate Challenge, presented by Subaru of America, Inc. is open for entries.

Modeled after the Effie Awards United States competition, Effie Collegiate engages tomorrow's marketers by providing an opportunity to research, ideate, and execute comprehensive marketing communications plans that address professional-level marketing challenges for established brands.

For the Subaru Brand Challenge, students will be asked to develop a non-traditional, integrated, multi-channel marketing campaign for Subaru that reinvents the experience of buying a new car to meet the expectations and lifestyles of the Millennial/Gen Z audience. The entry deadline is April 3, 2019.

The competition is open to students who are currently enrolled full/part-time at accredited educational institutions, including undergraduate/graduate students, and those enrolled in portfolio programs and online courses. Entries may be submitted by teams of two to four individuals.

Entries will be judged by industry professionals with diverse experience across client, agency, and media compaies. Selected finalists will have the opportunity to present their work to senior members of the Subaru brand team at their headquarters in Camden, New Jersey. Subaru will award monetary prizes to the First-Place winning team ($3,000), Runner Up ($2,000), and up to three Honorable Mentions ($500).
