O'Reilly Chief Learning Experience Officer to Present at Training 2019 Conference & Expo

O'Reilly, the premier source for insight-driven learning on technology and business, today announced that its Chief Learning Experience Officer, Karen Hebert-Maccaro, will present a session titled, "Redefining Learning ROI," at Training Magazine's 42nd annual Training 2019 Conference & Expo. The event, taking place from February 25-27 in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., brings together industry professionals to discuss all aspects of online and instructor-led training.

With an estimated $96.3 billion being spent on learning and development, organizations need to justify this significant expense. However, measuring learning is not as simple as turning to traditional return on investment (ROI) metrics to understand outcomes. To address this, Hebert-Maccaro's session will explore why organizations need to redefine learning ROI and why traditional tools of assessment don't adequately measure organizational learning in modern learning ecosystems.
