ISACA Introduces COBIT 2019 Training Resources

Following its release of the COBIT 2019 framework late last year, ISACA has now introduced updated training options.

Educational resources across a variety of formats have been created to help professionals become fully versed in the updates in COBIT 2019, designed to help enterprises govern information and technology based on their specific goals and needs. These training options include:

• Classroom training: COBIT Bridge workshop, COBIT 2019 Foundation Certificate Program and COBIT 2019 Design and Implementation Certificate Program (launching May 2019)
• On-site training: COBIT 2019 Foundation Course, COBIT 2019 Design and Implementation Certificate Program (launching May 2019)
• Virtual instructor-led training (VILT), including the COBIT 2019 Foundation Course, taking place 15-16 April
• Workshops at conferences, including the COBIT 2019 Foundation Course, taking place 11 and 12 May at North America CACS 2019
• COBIT 2019 Foundation Exam

Additionally, a bridge exam is available for those who already hold a COBIT 5 Foundation Certificate. Those who pass the Bridge Exam will be awarded the COBIT 2019 Foundation certificate.

Among the updates in COBIT 2019 are new design factors that help organizations tailor COBIT to their specific needs, integration of the CMMI Institute's Capability Maturity Model Integration, and three new management objectives.
