GEICO Hits the Road This Summer with the CMA Awards

GEICO and the Country Music Association have partnered to showcase the rich history of the CMA Awards with a five-month-long rolling exhibit across the country. The new GEICO CMA tour bus is traveling the country making over 20 stops, focusing mainly on country music festivals.

"It's always exciting to partner with a great organization like the Country Music Association," said Keith Slonski, marketing director for GEICO. "Presenting an interactive, mobile exhibit is a great way to connect with the country music community."

Fans will enjoy a unique event with brand ambassadors that will deliver a memorable, hands-on experience, showcasing unique country music memorabilia and CMA Awards artifacts from more than 50 years inside the mobile bus museum.

"We appreciate GEICO's continued support of country music and look forward to sharing more than five decades of CMA Awards history with fans at these tour stops across the U.S.," said Emily Evans, CMA senior director of Strategic Partnerships.

About the Country Music Association

Founded in 1958, the Country Music Association is the first trade organization formed to promote a type of music. In 1961, CMA created the Country Music Hall of Fame to recognize artists and industry professionals with Country Music's highest honor. More than 7,400 music industry professionals and companies from around the globe are members of CMA. The organization's objectives are to serve as an educational and professional resource for the industry and advance the growth of Country Music around the world. This is accomplished through CMA's core initiatives: the CMA Awards, which annually recognize outstanding achievement in the industry; CMA Fest, which benefits the CMA Foundation and music education and is taped for a network television special, "CMA Fest"; and "CMA Country Christmas." All of CMA's television properties air on the ABC Television Network.
