ISG to Host Automation Workshop at Intelligent Automation Canada

May 30 session will review common challenges and strategies for automation success

STAMFORD, Conn., May 21, 2019 /CNW/ -- Information Services Group (ISG) (Nasdaq: III), a leading global technology research and advisory firm, will share the firm's experience helping hundreds of clients on their automation journeys in an interactive discussion next week at the Intelligent Automation Canada conference in Toronto.

Mark Davison, partner and global lead, ISG Automation, will lead the workshop "Automation: Are You Getting it all Wrong?" on Thursday, May 30, at 2 p.m., at the Bond Hotel. The one-hour, twenty-five-minute session will offer lessons from ISG's work with clients worldwide to navigate the challenges, risks and opportunities of automation technologies, from software selection to building a bot workforce to leveraging technology to transform and improve business outcomes.

"The benefits of automation technology are well-established: greater efficiency, lower costs and employees who are freed from mundane tasks to focus o more rewarding activity," Davison said. "Enterprises are all over the map in terms of their progress towards automation. We find that the simplest way to forge a path is to find out what's worked and what hasn't worked for other businesses. Our discussion will cover the challenges companies face, and how to create success in a very dynamic transformation environment."

ISG also will sponsor and exhibit at the Intelligent Automation Canada conference, which offers a venue for exchanging new intelligent automation stories and ideas, on a global and Canadian basis, from every industry sector. Davison will be joined at the event by Victor Medeiros, ISG market leader for Canada, and Anurag Saxena, partner, ISG Automation. The ISG team will exhibit ISG solutions on the conference floor and engage with attendees on their automation challenges.
