Dan Oneglia to Join Blackstone's GSO as Co-Head of Distressed Investing


Blackstone (NYSE: BX) today announced that its global credit platform, GSO Capital Partners (GSO), has hired Dan Oneglia as a Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of its Distressed Investing business. Mr. Oneglia joins from Goldman Sachs where he spent 20 years, and most recently served as a Portfolio Manager and Head of Multi-Strategy Investing in the Americas Special Situations Group. He started his career in the Debt Capital Markets group at Goldman before joining the Multi-Strategy Investing team in 2004.

Dwight Scott, President of GSO, said: "Dan's experience in distressed credit and his approach to the broader debt markets make him an ideal fit for GSO. His addition will complement our already strong team and is another step as we look to build upon this important part of our business."
