"Having our U.S. certification has allowed us to build a local and sturdy foundation as we continue to expand globally," said Angela Kerr, vice president, product portfolio, SpotSee. "Our goal is to provide our customers, regardless of location, with reliable products that meet the highest standards."

In orer to be manufactured, marketed or imported into the U.S., radio-frequency devices are required to be tested against the standards set by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC (News - Alert)). The FCC label certifies that any electromagnetic interference from a device is under the appropriate limits to ensure devices can operate effectively without causing harmful interference. Products are tested and given the FCC label if they meet the requirements.

ShockLog Cellular can be used as a stand-alone or connected device to monitor in real time for out-of-tolerance conditions. The device tracks humidity, impact, tilt and roll, and temperature conditions, and has a battery life of more than 90 days without relying on a solar energy source. It allows users to know if shipping assets are traveling safely or if conditions are unacceptable. Mainly used to track products susceptible to damage during transport, ShockLog Cellular provides comprehensive supply chain transparency.
