Sparton's Plaistow Facility Collects Ninth Consecutive Supplier Excellence Award from Raytheon


Sparton MDS, an industry leader in the design and manufacture of highly-complex electronic and electromechanical devices, was recognized for its outstanding performance as a supplier to Raytheon (News - Alert) Integrated Defense Systems(IDS), with a 3-Star Supplier award, at the Supplier Excellence Conference in Boston on May 21, 2019.  This is the 9th consecutive year Sparton's Plaistow, New Hampshire facility has earned the Excellence Award. During this time the site also achieved a Bronze Affordability Award for cost reductions.

Sparton Plaistow has a rich history of supplying vertically integrated products and contract manufacturing services to Raytheon IDS. During this decade long relationship, Sparton Plaistow has demonstrated its ability to deliver exceptional products and services to Raytheon and ultimately the War Fighter.

Raytheon's Integrated Defense Systems business instituted the annual Supplier Excellence Awards program to recognize suppliers who have proided outstanding service and partnership in exceeding customer requirements. Award candidates are judged on certain criteria, including overall quality and on-time delivery. Sparton Plaistow was one of 38 companies recognized by Raytheon's Integrated Defense Systems business for 3-Star honors.
