Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia's Seven Bucks Companies Taps Universal Pictures Veteran, Maya Lasry As Chief Marketing OfficerLOS ANGELES, Aug. 21, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia have hired Universal Pictures executive Maya Lasry as Chief Marketing Officer of their Seven Bucks Companies. Lasry will be based in Los Angeles and will oversee all global marketing, planning, development, and creative advertising across Seven Bucks' films, television and digital media companies as well as all business partnerships within the enterprise. Lasry will also oversee marketing and strategy for Seven Bucks Creative, the creative arm of Seven Bucks Productions, which Johnson and Garcia launched in 2017.

While at Universal, Lasry spearheaded global creative marketing campaigns, leading direction across Key Art, Trailers, and TV/Digital creative, including Seven Bucks Production's Skyscraper (2018) starring Johnson, which grossed nearl $305 million worldwide. Lasry produced marketing materials across other Universal films including The Fate of the Furious, American Made, A Dog's Purpose, The Mummy, and Furious 7, among many others.
