In partnership with High Noon Sales, TravelCenters donated $1 from each item of SCF merchandise sold in its TA, Petro and TA Express travel stores since May 2019. High Noon products including phone chargers, flashlights, hats and cups were imprinted with SCF's logo and sold at participating travel stores within the TA, Petro and TA Express network over a three-month period. Earlier today at a ceremony held at The Great American Trucking Show (GATS) in Dallas, Texas, TravelCenters presented the check to the SCF.

"We are honored to be a part of this important fundraising program for the SCF," said Barry Richards, Presdent and COO of TravelCenters. "Our customers, both professional drivers and the motoring public, have made this campaign a success. This is truly about people taking care of other people."

Justin Hoffman (News - Alert), Vice President of Sales and Marketing for High Noon Sales added, "We are grateful for this opportunity to partner with TravelCenters for such an important charity. Professional drivers are a large segment of our end-user customer base. It's a privilege to be a part of helping out drivers in need."

TravelCenters of America has supported the SCF since 2010 through a variety of fundraising campaigns and has helped to raise more than $2.5 million for the charity that provides financial assistance to over-the-road truck drivers when an illness or injury has caused them to be out of work. Dr. Donna Kennedy, Executive Director of the SCF was at GATS to accept the check.

"I've been thanking TravelCenters for ten years for their immense support of the SCF and the work we do," said Kennedy. "Now, with their partnership with High Noon Sales, they have created another successful fundraising campaign to benefit the many drivers who so badly need our help. I just can't say thank you enough," she added.

More than 250 travel stores in the TravelCenters network participated in the campaign.
