Idaho Health and Welfare Introduces Automatic, Recurring Child Support Payment Option

Parents can now schedule automatic, recurring payments for their Idaho child support cases on the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare's payment website.

Developed by Access Idaho, the new tool is designed to improve the child support payment process, to help parents prevent missing payments and to avoid legal issues when trying to meet their court-ordered obligations.

After setting up a username and password, parents can select "Create Plan;" select a frequency of weekly, every other week or monthly; enter their credit or debit card information securely; and let the online system do the rest. Payments will be made automatically on the date(s) selected.

To set up an account, parents will need their Social Security number, mailing address, email address and Client ID. Accounts can be edited or removed at any time.

In addition to making payments, parents can use the system to look up online payments for the last six months or the last five payments from any source, plus review non-custodial parent (NCP) and custodial parent (CP) totals due.

Health and Welfare's online child support service is vailable in Spanish, as well, and collects an average of over $2.7 million per month for Idaho's children.

Access Idaho is managed under a statewide contract awarded to Idaho Information Consortium (IIC), a Boise-based company and wholly owned subsidiary of digital government firm NIC's (NASDAQ:EGOV) family of companies.
