Sandy Cove Advisors Re-Hires Kate Saltonstall, CFA as Chief Investment Officer


Sandy Cove Advisors, a boutique wealth advisory firm specializing in wealth management services, financial planning and family office solutions, is pleased to announce that Kate Saltonstall, CFA has re-joined the firm in her prior capacity as Chief Investment Officer. Her primary responsibilities will be focusing on our clients and their investment goals. She heads our Investment Committee in determining strategic portfolio asset allocation, portfolio construction, manager selection and portfolio risk management.

Kate comes to Sandy Cove Advisors with strong investment expertise spanning 26 years. For the last nine years, Kate has focused on wealth management serving failies and individuals at Sandy Cove Advisors, Brown Advisory, and her own extended family. For the first 16 years of her career Kate honed her skills as a portfolio manager and/or equity analyst at BlackRock, Boston Partners, and Morgan Stanley among other investment firms.



Kate earned her BA in international relations from Lehigh University, an MBA from Tulane University and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Kate is an advocate for women in finance and is a member of many Boston and national organizations that are strong mentors and proponents of women's financial education and career development. Kate is a member of the Women's Program Initiative at CFA Boston, Boston Women in Finance, and also volunteers as an educational speaker. Kate has also been a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council's Women Initiative Committee.
