Surge Closes Investment in All About Learning Press

Surge Private Equity LLC ("Surge") announces its investment into All About Learning Press Inc. ("AALP"), a Wisconsin-based national homeschool curriculum publisher. The transaction closed with debt financing provided by Modern Bank, N.A. and Spell Capital Partners, LLC.

For 16 years, AALP has internally developed and published a variety of proprietary and multi-sensory homeschooling curriculums primarily targeting lower school spelling and reading. Based on the Orton-Gillingham approach, these programs teach through a logical sequence that leaves no gaps in the learning process for any level of skill. Surge is bringing on an experienced operator to assist founders Marie and Greg Rippel with the growth of the company.
