Amazon Career Day 2020 - More Than 300,000 People Attended the Event and Over 380,000 Applied for a Job at AmazonAmazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) today announced that over 300,000 people attended Amazon Career Day yesterday. Additionally, a record-setting 384,000 people applied for a job at Amazon in the U.S. and Canada over the last week since the event was announced. In the span of 24 hours, Amazon recruiters completed over 20,000 1-on-1 career coaching sessions with participants, and another 6,000 people joined group breakout sessions. Americans in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico attended Amazon Career Day, an online event designed to help people - regardless of their level of experience, professional field, or background - get advice, insights, and information to help them find new opportunities either at Amazon or another company.
