Sea Pointe Construction Builds Cabinets for Thomas House Family Shelter

Award winning residential design/build firm, Sea Pointe Construction, has donated and installed Omega Cabinets at Thomas House Family Shelter in Garden Grove, just in time for the holiday season. Thomas House provides these families to start fresh and an opportunity to maintain permanent housing while allowing them traction to better their personal finances.

"We appreciate Sea Pointe Construction for donating and participating in our cause during Covid-19. It has been difficult to continue and find partners that are willing to help during this time," says Natalie Julien, Thomas House Executive Director.

Sea Pointe Construction is grateful to be able to use their expertise and services to help Thomas House and these families in a way that will empower them for years to come. Thomas House provides helpful programs with no cost to the families such as youth development, mental health services, case management and more.

"With Sea Pointe's contribution, we are now closer to getting these families to establish a home," says Julien.

Year oer year, 80-90% of families that reside at Thomas House Family Shelter, achieve finding permanent housing within a year. During their stay, they are required to be working full-time and to save 80% of their income, which is monitored by Thomas House.

"We support our families so they can achieve long-term success even post-program graduation. Once they move out, families still have access to the featured programs and many of the kids enjoy coming to the activities that we offer," says Julien.

"We're truly inspired by witnessing the strength and persistence of Thomas House families and it is an honor to be a part of this project," says Andrew Shore, Sea Pointe Construction President.

In spirit of giving thanks this fall season, Sea Pointe Construction will be collecting gently used furniture, clothing and soft goods from past clients in Orange (News - Alert) County to gift and furnish Thomas House Family Shelter units.

The design/build firm will also be supporting the Thomas House November Food Drive through collecting food donations at the Irvine Design Showroom during business hours (Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) Members of the community may drop off canned food at Sea Pointe Construction, located at 576 Wald Irvine, CA (News - Alert) 92618 or at Thomas House Family Shelter in Garden Grove.
