Securonix Named a Leader in Security Analytics by Independent Research Firm

Securonix, Inc., a leader in Next-Gen SIEM, today announced it was named a leader by Forrester Research (News - Alert) in "The Forrester Wave™: Security Analytics Platforms, Q4 2020."

Forrester Research Inc. researched, analyzed and scored eleven Security Analytics vendors and named Securonix a Leader. In the 27-criterion vendor assessment, Securonix scored highest in the deployment and data architecture criterion. Securonix also received the highest possible scores across 14 other criteria that the firm uses to evaluate the top vendors in the market, including the analytics, correlation capabilities, custom detections, risk scoring and prioritization, product vision, and performance criteria. The Forrester report notes that "customer references comment that Securonix's analytics-based approach, behavioral analytics, and real-time enrichment are strengths."

The report also states that "Securonix offers SaaS (News - Alert)-based, multitenant security analytics. Securonix initially launched as a SUBA vendor in 2008, adding SIEM functionality in 2016 to compete as a security analytics platform. The vendor has since added automation as an add-on feature or delivered via third-party integrations. Securonix has shifted to a cloud-first SaaS deployment strategy with flexible deployment options, including multitenancy, which makes it attractive for MSSP partners."

"As we continue to evolve our Next-Gen SIEM platform to meet tomorrow's security needs today, this recognition from Forrester is undoubtedly significant," said Sachin Nayyar, CEO, Securonix. "As clod adoption rises and attackers evolve their methods, we're confident that our SaaS-delivered security analytics platform will continue to help our customers adequately protect their assets from advanced attacks. We are proud of the work we've done to help our customers and partners efficiently advance their security operations and look forward to building on our success in 2021 and beyond."

According to the Forrester report, "as security information and event management (SIEM) technology becomes outdated and less effective, cloud-delivered security analytics platforms that provide custom detections will dictate which providers will lead the pack." Securonix's Next-Gen SIEM combines log management, user and entity behavior analytics (UEBA), and security incident response into a complete, cloud-native security operations platform. It leverages multi-tiered analytics to autonomously detect high risk threats and provide incident response capabilities for fast remediation.

As a SaaS offering, Securonix is constantly updating its platform to keep its customers ahead of the attack landscape and meet new organizational challenges, proactively addressing potential issues created by things like modern data storage, emerging security threats, and cloud adoption.
