Andersen Welcomes Robin Klinghagen as a State and Local Tax Managing Director in the Commercial Practice


Andersen welcomes Managing Director Robin Klinghagen to the Commercial practice in Houston. Robin has over 28 years of state and local tax (SALT) experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, management of state tax controversies, and state tax planning.

"Robin's unique state tax consulting experience adds another level of expertise to our capabilities. Her success in leading client directives in highly competitive markets is an effective attribute that enhances our current SALT group," said Jason Graham, Office Managing Director of the Houston office.

Previously, Robin was the founder of RRK Consulting, LLC. She also spent a part of her career working at PwC. In her prior roles, she was responsible for the management of nexus studies, state and local tax due diligence projects and tax compliance review.

Robin received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of South Dakota and her Master of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. She is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She has spoken for organizations such as the Tax Executives Institute and the Energy Tax Association.
