LogNet Systems, a provider of customer management and billing solutions for multiple play service providers, announced that it has deployed a convergent prepaid and postpaid charging solution, MaxBill (News - Alert) product suite, for Israel carrier TelZar 019.
TelZar 019 is a new international carrier, providing international calling services and voice termination services in Israel. The company offers a range of prepaid and postpaid communications services to a growing customer base, company officials said.
MaxBill product suite from LogNet (News - Alert) Systems enables TelZar 019 to efficiently provide its customers with both prepaid and postpaid telecommunication services, company officials stated.
The service includes real-time coverage of its entire of billing and charging process, including inter-carrier settlement, retail billing, calling card and voucher management, Radius-based convergent charging and invoicing.
MaxBill also applies profile management policies on calls in real-time to control credit limits for postpaid customers in order to prevent bill shock and fraudulent usage. The solution from LogNet Systems also includes customer management and product catalog features.
“We conducted a rigorous selection process and LogNet was clearly our vendor of choice to support our move into convergent prepaid and postpaid services,” said Azarya Sela, managing director at TelZar 019, in a statement. “We selected LogNet for its mature functionality that gives us the flexibility to diversify our prepaid and postpaid service offerings and expand our revenue streams.”

Earlier this year, LogNet Systems announced it has been selected to deploy its MaxBill product suite for Simfonics (News - Alert), a pan-European Mobile Virtual Network Enabler or “MVNE” offering a full managed service business model and service delivery platform.
