Next Gen Network Solutions Company GCS to Offer Free Trial at ITW

By Carrie Schmelkin, TMCnet Web Editor

Global Convergence (News - Alert) Solutions (GCS), a Next Gen Network Solutions company that offers proprietary routing and rating technology solutions to telecom service providers, is looking to do something a little different to shake up the market – offer a No Risk/No Cost trial period.

“It’s our way of saying to carriers that we know they have problems in their network and OSS/BSS systems and we understand the complexities of implementing new solutions. So we wanted to create an offer that would eliminate any financial risk for them because we are absolutely confident we have the right product and solution for them,” Chief Marketing Officer of GCS , Mark Delaney, told TMCnet. “Our trial program is a No Risk/ No Cost offer that will allow select carriers the opportunity to use our service for 30 days without any cost and no obligation.”

“This isn't a ‘pay us now and we'll refund you later type of offering,’” he added. “We are making this offer because we know with certainty our solution will help carriers, and we want to get it into their hands so they can see how it dramatically improves their business.”

The trial period will only be available to those qualified customers who will be attending International Telecoms Week (ITW) and visit GCS’s (News - Alert) booth, No. 612.  ITW, which takes place May 23-25, serves as a meeting point for the global wholesale telecommunications community to buy and sell both voice and data products and services.

Since 2006, when GCS was founded, the company has been attending the ITW show. GCS aims to reshape how communications service providers acquire, manipulate and disseminate information across disparate networks and technologies, according to company officials. The company’s two flagship products, the GCS Dynamic Route Manager and the GCS Dynamic Rate Manager, work to improve how carriers manage routing and maximize margins on existing traffic while optimizing how carriers manage  rate management, product pricing and supplier management functions.

Last year was the first year that GCS exhibited at ITW and once again the company is looking forward to exhibiting as a way for the Next Gen Network Solutions (News - Alert) company to engage the international carrier community.

“2010 was an incredibly successful event for GCS as we were able to engage several international carriers and win new business,” Delaney said. “We believe 2011 will be an even better event for GCS and are planning on making a few note worthy announcements at the show, including our trial offering.”

GCS first started thinking about offering the trial period when they found that many carriers in the marketplace were struggling with which strategic investments they should make.

The market is “changing rapidly” and carriers are under enormous pressure to maintain competitive strength while continuing to offer value, according to Delaney. Fortunately for these carriers, GCS has the solution and is ready to share its success with those at ITW.

“The GCS solution is the right product, at the right time for carriers and we know without reservation that we can help every carrier. We wanted to remove any impediment to trialing our solution,” Delaney said. “So, we are putting our money where our mouth is by allowing carriers to trial our system with absolutely no cost to them.”

“Look at our existing customers which include Vonage, One Communications (News - Alert), KDDI, Sify and 50 plus other service providers,” he added. “They'll all tell you that we have dramatically improved their business from a cost, operations and revenue/margin perspective.  The power of solution is reshaping how these carriers acquire, manipulate and distribute information across their networks in a way that is allowing them to generate greater revenues and margins from existing traffic.”
