Apptix Inks Partnership with Nintex to Enhance Office 365

By Anil Sharma, TMCnet Contributor

Apptix (News - Alert), a provider of hosted business communication, collaboration, and IT solutions, has entered into a partnership with Nintex to provide enhanced user functionality to its cloud-based Microsoft (News - Alert) SharePoint solutions. Microsoft is also a provider of Office 365.

“Apptix is excited to partner with Nintex in providing our customers more automation around the Microsoft SharePoint solution,” said David Ehrhardt (News - Alert), president and CEO of Apptix, in a statement.

Nintex Workflow 2010 and Nintex Forms 2010 automate the way information is captured and used within the SharePoint platform, creating a business solution that improves productivity and efficiency, extremely similar to Office 365.

“Nintex is thrilled to partner with Apptix who are providing market leading, enterprise-level cloud solutions, including the provisioning of dedicated SharePoint environments,” Brett Campbell, Nintex Co-founder and VP of Alliances added.

Through this partnership, customers will gain access to an extremely flexible, cost-effective and easy-to-use hosted solution.

The two applications are intuitive to use, integrate directly with the SharePoint platform, and work together seamlessly to form complete business solutions such as employee reviews, leave requests and approvals, contract creation, help desk ticketing, consumer surveys, job applications, expense reimbursement, sales lead tracking, and contest entries.

Both are available through most major mobile devices, so users can access them anywhere.

While Nintex Workflow 2010 is an intuitive drag-and-drop interface that allows users to quickly and easily “draw” workflows instead of coding them, Nintex Forms 2010 is a quick and easy form designers can leverage to improve the usability and the look-and-feel of online forms.

Back in April, Cincinnati Bell (News - Alert) had expanded its portfolio of telecommunications and IT services for businesses with the addition of cloud-based Microsoft Communication and Collaboration Solutions powered by hosted business services provider Apptix and Parallels, a provider of cloud service delivery software.

These new solutions will allow Cincinnati Bell to more effectively serve small and medium businesses, as well as key industries including healthcare, government, and education.
