Microsoft Veteran to Speak All About Office 365

InterCall (News - Alert), a subsidiary of West Corporation and a conferencing and collaboration services provider, recently revealed it would be sponsoring a webinar and demo entitled, “How the Cloud Changes Everything and Nothing at All: An Introduction to Office 365.”


The event which is scheduled to be held on July 12 at 2 p.m. ET will focus on the business benefits of using cloud-based communications to improve collaboration, productivity and reduce expenses.

Stephen Deming, Microsoft (News - Alert) partner solution advisor for U.S. small, medium business and distribution, is the featured speaker and will be spearheading the Office 365 demonstration. By showing users to better optimize this solution, businesses will be able to understand the major benefits of Office 365, especially anytime and anywhere access to key information.

“Customers tell us they appreciate our Office 365 webinars and demos because they simplify complex tools and help make the most of their technology investments,” said Kathleen Finato, senior vice president of marketing and business development at InterCall, in a statement.

The company continues to break down communication barriers not only through its product portfolio, but also through an emphasis on training and knowledge-sharing with customers.

“The topic of ‘cloud’ has become widespread throughout the information technology industry,” Deming added.

The cloud is completely changing the way solutions are deployed, how resources are allocated and how money is spent. But, that doesn’t necessarily mean companies should totally change the fundamental technologies behind their favorite infrastructure solutions.

As part of its “Redefining the Cloud” campaign, InterCall recently unveiled Microsoft Office 365 productivity tools to small businesses through its eCommerce portal. InterCall offers Office 365 plans including Productivity (E1), Productivity Start-up (P1) and Lync Online (L2) integrated with audio conferencing to the small business market in the U.S.

The InterCall solution for Office 365 includes e-mail (Microsoft Exchange Online), Web conferencing (Microsoft Lync Online), and collaboration tools such as InterCall’s Reservationless-Plus Audio Conferencing, Microsoft Office Web Apps and Microsoft SharePoint Online. Small businesses can set up conference calls and conduct online conferences through Office 365 using Voice over IP (VoIP), landlines or mobile phones.
