Many companies offer bundled Office 365 solutions that are extremely cost-effective and help to ramp productivity and collaborative efforts in the enterprise alike. Stepping into the space, Infinitely Virtual, a provider of virtual server cloud computing services for businesses, recently revealed it will be unbundling its hosted, licensed Microsoft (News - Alert) Office suite products to enable customers to choose those products they need at a per product price.
If users only want access to Office 365, they no longer are forced to pay for either the Publisher or Outlook application. In fact, customers can select to implement segments of Microsoft Excel, Access, Publisher or Outlook as “menu” items, creating a package that precisely fits their needs.
Infinitely Virtual offers Microsoft Office Standard and Microsoft Office Professional as full suites for its clients who want to leverage the complete offerings.
So, how can customers achieve their information technology goals, while keeping the input cost low? Adam Stern, founder and CEO, Infinitely Virtual, said in a press release, “Many businesses would like to gain access to our hosted Microsoft Excel application but don’t necessarily want to pay for a full Microsoft Office Suite license – a situation that is especially common among customers using our hosted QuickBooks application.”
He added, “We’re responding to our customers, who often just need a specific application. This way, they’re receiving and paying for exactly what they want.”
Pricing has already been set for the one time purchase of Excel and Access, while Outlook and Publisher have varying rates.
