SADA Systems, a gold certified Microsoft (News
- Alert) partner and information technology consulting firm specializing in powering Office 365, has recently been highlighted as the 2012 Microsoft U.S. Public Sector Rising Star Partner of the Year.
The award recognizes the outstanding use of Microsoft technology, deep industry expertise and exemplary customer satisfaction.Winners and finalists were nominated and selected by Microsoft's U.S. public sector team working throughout the nation.
"Microsoft relies on its network of dedicated partners around the globe to deliver technology solutions that empower public sector missions" said Vince Menzione, general manager of U.S. public sector partner strategy at Microsoft, in a statement.
"We are thrilled to recognize SADA Systems as a Partner of the Year for its unwavering commitment to serving customers across education," Menzione aded.
Earlier this year, the Office 365 provider worked with students, faculty and staff of the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD), giving them access to the communication and collaboration tools found in the the Live@edu platform, the predecessor to Office 365 for Education.
The LACCD is the largest community college district in the nation, serving over 250,000 students each year, with nine college campuses scattered across 36 cities in the greater Los Angeles area.
Moreover, SADA Systems is consistently engaged in delivering cloud technologies to the educational space, providing both students and staff with the capabilities needed to drive communication.
SADA also helped deliver Office 365 for Education to 11 other educational institutions nationwide in Microsoft's 2012 fiscal year and is currently engaged in a series of Office 365-focused webinars in order to demonstrate the vast capabilities of the platform.
"Having completed over 50 Office 365 deployments for both small and large educational institutions, we have gained a wealth of knowledge migrating legacy platforms to the Live@edu and Office 365 for Education environments," commented Niv Dolgin, director of IT Services for SADA Systems.
