Bell and Howell, a company specializing in offering solutions and services for paper-based and digital messaging, has recently unveiled Hosted IQ, a new cloud-based version of its IQ Software Suite.
This time, Bell and Howell have integrated the benefits of an Automated Document Factory (ADF) in a single, secure, Software-as-a-Service environment without incurring the upfront costs and the ongoing support of a traditional ADF.
According to the company, Hosted IQ is built to keep up with all the requirements ranging from mailpiece tracking to production and operational tracking, providing mailers of all sizes and budgets with a fully managed and secure ADF solution. The service provides all the capabilities needed to manage document integrity and compliance reporting, automate reprint processing, and track the productivity of operators and equipment.
“Hosted IQ demonstrates Bell and Howell’s commitment to making our best-in-class ADF tools available to the widest range of customers,” said Mike Maselli, VP of Marketing and Product Management.
Adding, “By leveraging the power of the IQ Software Suite with the security and operational efficiencies afforded by our managed service, organizations can receive the benefits of our real-time management system without having to justify the long-term costs of building their own solution or managing their own system.”
The company is currently allowing its customers to license single or multiple solution modules and its Web-based user interface can be accessed by authorized users with no additional local software required on the end-user computer. In addition, this integrated system decreases the IT infrastructure and overhead costs, enabling customers to move non-core IT activities to an outsourced model.
“We are very excited to offer this new service for companies that have either not invested in an ADF or those that have developed their own and are ready to transition to a managed service and reallocate their highly valuable technical personnel,” said Mark Toussaint, product manager, ADF Solutions.
Bell and Howell is headquartered in Durham, N.C., and maintains facilities in Wheeling, Ill., Bethlehem, Pa., and Rochester, N.Y.
