Equisys, a company that creates document management and delivery software that helps companies save time and costs, improve customer service and reduce their carbon footprint, has revealed that Zetadocs Express, its downloadable document management module for Microsoft (News - Alert) Dynamics NAV, is now immediately available to users of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 at no additional cost.

This announcement is the result of collaboration between Microsoft and Equisys to provide Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 & NAV 2009 customers the additional value of integrated document management using SharePoint.

Zetadocs Express helps streamline everyday business processes such as Electronic Invoicing, Supplier Invoice Processing and Proof of Delivery Tracking by delivering three essential document management capabilities such as drag and drop, document approval, save and send.

According to the company, delivering documents electronically cuts the carbon emissions arising from manufacturing paper and delivering it by conventional mail. It additionally captures and stores documents electronically, therefore reducing the need for printing and encourages recycling of paper user receives.

“Since the first release of Zetadocs Express in October 2011, Equisys and Microsoft have worked together closely with the aim of adding further value to users of Microsoft Dynamics NAV through document management,” said Chris Oswald, Equisys CEO, in a statement.

Oswald added that this release is their second update to Zetadocs Express since last year’s original launch, and the feedback they continue to receive is that it’s a great tool not just in terms of time and cost savings, but also for helping NAV users understand more about the potential advantages of a robust document management system.

Customers using Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 or Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 with an active Business Ready Enhancement Plan can currently download Zetadocs Express at no additional cost.
