UrbaCon General Contracting, which provides complete turnkey design and construction services, has replaced Google (News - Alert) applications with Office 365, which enables the company to conduct unified calls between employees and will ultimately lead to the increase of its productivity in general.

Microsoft (News - Alert) Office 365 is highly secure and offers anytime access to e-mail and calendars, Office Web Apps, instant messaging, conferencing, and file sharing.

While the company was using Google applications for the last two years, after facing various obstacles and problems including supporting all of the firm’s employees regardless their location or the nature of their job and whether they were at the construction site or in any of the company’s branches offices around the world, it decided to search for an alternative solution.

It was then the contractor decided that Office 365 best met its individual needs as the robust solution could ensure the quick and effective exchange of documents through a secure communication network as well as facilitate the operation of visual calls, increasing the effectiveness of the work as well as enabling the company to finish projects in record time in comparison with competitors.
