- Alert) SharePoint and Office 365, recently entered into a partnership with Layer2, to offer business data integration between SP Marketplace applications and back-office business applications like QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics GP, NAV and SAP (News
- Alert).
Layer2 is a provider of Microsoft SharePoint apps with a major focus on data integration, collaborative knowledge management and social networking. By working with the company, SP Marketplace will be able to connect or sync its SharePoint and Office 365 applications with almost any corporate line of business without programming.
This partnership will also help SP Marketplace Office 365 and SharePoint applications to be extended beyond standard capabilities.

Layer2 integration is available in SP CRM, SP IT Support Portal, SP HR Portal and SP Intranet Portal.These applications have been designed to work on Microsoft SharePoint 2010/2013 and Office 365 / SharePoint Online and are 100 percent customizable.
Additionally, SP Marketplace also provides “Application Provisioning Services,” where the base template can be enhanced with Web Parts and branding at a minimum expense.
In related news, TMCnet reported that Layer2 unveiled a new version of its Cloud Connector which seamlessly integrates almost any local or cloud-based corporate data sources with native SharePoint Online lists and libraries in the Microsoft Office 365 cloud.
